Took a four day weekend this last week and headed to the Smokies to fish and hang out with family. Flows were a little low and water temps, as well as air temps, were high but I still found willing fish. I stuck mostly to the deeper runs but did fish the better looking skinny water just in case. I found the fish were deep in the deep runs but that they would rise if tempted properly. I met up on the third day with my friend Mark to show him the ropes and he did well catching two nice fish and getting several good rises. With a little practice he will be catching several fish per day. Here are a few pics from the trip:
