Appalachian Brookies

So I took some time today and headed to the Smokies do a little fly fishing.  I rarely go up high for brookies and decided that today was a good day for it.  It was about 80 degrees in the valley and a little cooler up high.  The water was nice and cool and the brookies were eager.  I missed many more than I caught but had a ton of fun.  Late fall is setting in so I may go back tomorrow.  Here are a few pics:

I like brookies! I caught my first ever one too recently using my tenkara rod too!
