Fishing the Elk near Lynchburg, TN

I fished the elk today with my friend Mark.  These fish are picky.  Maybe it's the fumes from the nearby Jack Daniels distillery that keeps the drunk and not in the mood?  These fish prefer very small flies it seems so bring some size 18-20 in your favorite dry fly patterns.  Got skunked but he finally caught one at the end of the day.

The fish were very picky as I mentioned earlier.  We threw everything at them.  Bring small flies and long leaders.

Lots of rises to dries but they mostly ignored ours.  Mark finally landed one to keep us coming back.  Good job, Mark.
