The River Why

The River Why by David J. Duncan is an interesting look into a young man's life.  It's a coming of age, love, family, fishing story.  Duncan's main character Gus Orviston (no association to the company that makes fly fishing equipment, I presume) leaves home and learns a great deal about himself, life and love.  It's a good read for younger readers and not bad for older readers that are into fly fishing.  It's worthy of taking on a trip.  The authors personal insight at the end leaves me thinking about my own life and what I'm doing with it.
