Caney Fork March 10, 2009

Had a nice half day trip on the river. Caught a bow and a brown. Caught the brown down river from the steps on a Dock's Cork dry. My fishin' buddy and I approached the river slowly from west and I laid the dry down gently with a roll cast just a few feet from the bank and WOW, what a strike! A nice little brown tore into it and tried to run all of the float line off of the reel! He was a smaller brown, but had lots of spirit.

Also caught a very colorful bow on a white scud dropper. You can't tell it from this photo, but this guy was very colorful and a nice lookin' little bow.
